A new office headquarters in Penrith for PFK Land and Estate Agents has been submitted for planning approval. The two-storey office will provide space for 55 staff, plus meeting spaces for customer use. The design will offer significant enhancements to business working practices, bringing staff together who are dispersed across other offices in the area.

Andrew Green, Managing Director said: “We’ve outgrown our current office accommodation at Skirsgill and by developing land already in the ownership of the Company allows us to continue to expand our Land Agency and Professional Services business into our own bespoke premises on Mile Lane.”

The contemporary design will aim for ‘RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge’ targets set for operational low carbon energy use. This will include a fabric first approach to insulating the envelope, use of solar photovoltaic panels, battery storage, high coefficient heat pumps, and electric car charging.
