Barbara has established an excellent reputation in delivering a wide range of residential, care and community projects throughout the region. She has worked with a diverse range of clients from local authorites, private developers to housing associations and has significant experience small scale projects working closely with local charities, trusts, community groups and individual clients.

Barbara worked in a number of regional practices before joining Architects Plus (UK) Ltd in 2001, becoming a Director in 2011.  Barbara has extensive experience working with multiple funding organisations, meeting the requirements of housing, community, lottery and sports funding.  She has expertise in energy assessment, sustainable design and access auditing as well undertaking specialist Health & Safety roles.  Her schemes have frequently won regional awards for their design innovation and sustainability. Barbara is responsible for the practice’s Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems.
