Afshin always adopts a calm and concise attitude to his work and has a specific skill set that enables him to perform intricate detailing, protocol and procedures utilising bim software. He has developed an impressive portfolio of diverse and exciting projects that includes education, healthcare, commercial and residential commissions.
Afshin’s final year dissertation was nominated for the CIAT Student Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology and was awarded the CIOB Student Certificate of Excellence. Working at Summers-Inman, in their specialist Digital Surveying Service department, Afshin was involved in a large variety of projects co-ordinating and managing digital models. Since joining the Architects Plus team in 2016 Afshin has been involved in the design, detailing and construction of a number of high profile projects including several new build school developments and the award winning head office for the UK operations of Komatsu Forest Ltd. He also has mentored other members of staff on the use of Revit and BIM software and continues to pursue his interest in digital architecture.
