Works to the new Key Stage 3 building for Sandgate SEN School at their Queen Katherine School site in Kendal are being handed over to the client this week. The new ‘Upper School’ facility provides much needed additional classroom spaces, a large multi-function hall with an inbuilt climbing wall, together with ancillary teaching and administration spaces. The project also provides a total overhaul of the school’s external spaces to improve the pick-up and drop-off operations at the start and end of the school day.
