Architects Plus have a wealth of experience for special educational needs facilities. We were initially commissioned by the council to produce a feasibility study that identified the need to expand the existing school accommodation. The design was then successfully delivered through the briefing, spatial design, planning and detailed technical design stages onto site, and is now occupied and enjoyed by staff and pupils.

The proposals provide 4 additional classrooms and associated facilities. This includes a multi-purpose hall; pupil changing; medical room; sensory room, staff offices and staff changing rooms.  This has enabled the school to accept a total of 80 pupils on the site.  The proposals include an entirely new entrance to serve both the new building and existing school classrooms with a dedicated vehicle drop off to enable pupils to arrive in a safe and secure environment.
