Whitehaven Harbour

Owners of a prominent, derelict site on Whitehaven harbourside launched a competition in conjunction with the RIBA to design a mixed use development comprising offices, shops and apartments; entrants were also required to incorporate an existing Victorian swimming baths building, create stronger links to the existing town, enhance further the environment being created at the harbourside and provide a striking building reflecting the town's past and future.
