David Blair MCIAT
David joined the practice shortly after its formation in 1988 and became a director in 2005. David has been involved in a wide range of projects from Magistrates Courts, offices and warehouses to large one-off private houses. David currently specialises in hotel and leisure projects and has been involved in various new build projects and major refurbishments throughout the UK, the Channel Islands and Europe. David has also worked on a great many residential projects for both private clients and Registered Social Landlords.

Barbara Gower BA Hons BArch Hons RIBA
After joining Architects Plus as a graduate in 2001, Barbara has risen steadily through the ranks becoming a director of the practice in 2011. She has particular experience and expertise in housing design, renewable technologies and passive solar design. Barbara has worked extensively with Registered Social Landlords throughout Cumbria on new build, refurbishment and major regeneration schemes.

Christian Judd BA (Hons) BArch RIBA
Christian joined Architects Plus in 2008 becoming a director in 2011. He has worked extensively for some high profile hotel and leisure developments throughout the UK and overseas, as well as providing well received design solutions for housing, healthcare and commercial developments. Christian was principal designer for the winning entry of the RIBA design competition for the Ullswater Yacht Club.

Tom Langlands BSc BArch (Hons) MArch RIBA ARIAS RMaPS
Tom has over 30 years of architectural practice experience and was one of the founding partners of Architects Plus. Tom has worked across a broad spectrum of sectors including education, residential, commercial, regeneration and environmental improvement projects. He has considerable experience of schemes involving the refurbishment of listed buildings and properties within conservation and historic areas.

Raymond Whittaker MA DipARCH (Cantab) RIBA
Raymond was one of the founding partners of Architects Plus and has architectural experience spanning over 4 decades. Raymond has a wide range of experience acting as project architect and lead consultant of multi-disciplinary teams on new build and refurbishment contracts for both private and public sector clients. He has particular skills in relation to the compilation of client briefs and feasibility stage analysis as well as considerable experience of commercial and educational developments from primary and secondary schools to higher education institutions.
