About Us
Architects Plus was established as a partnership in 1988. The five founding partners all came from local practices bringing with them a wealth of regional knowledge. They established Architects Plus within the converted shell of a former seed merchant’s warehouse in the centre of Carlisle and from these spacious and modern surroundings launched a dynamic, contemporary service. The practice expanded steadily, developing a diverse portfolio of projects and nurturing a talented pool of staff to become one of the largest practices in the region. On 30th June 2001 the partnership became a limited company – Architects Plus (UK) Ltd. The practice now has a very strong regional client base, operating throughout the north west of England and south west of Scotland, and also undertakes projects throughout the UK and overseas.
